The Guardian Series

Phase 1: Complete

So it's been awhile, but I have officially completed the first draft. It came in at a little more than 33,000 words which is not where I want it to be or where it needs to be to be publishable. BUT that's okay. I have scenes already that I want to add and have begun the editing/rewrite/second draft portion. I have some lovely ladies who have been with me throughout the writing process who have given me their input as well so I'm feeling very positive about it. I'd like to get it up to around 55,000 if possible before I start soliciting for a literary agent. Keep your fingers crossed! And as always, I love you guys for following me on this new project and being the best support system any aspiring author could ask for. I'll keep you all updated!

Break

After taking a bit of a break from writing this story, I've sat down and gotten a rough draft outline for the second half of the book. I'm definitely more apprehensive about this half since it wasn't as set in stone as the first, but I'm confident that I'll work it out. Thank you again for the support and stay tuned for updates! I know, no matter what happens with it, I'll have something to be proud of when I'm finished and I hope one day you all get to read it : )
